The Irish Society for European Law
The ISEL was established in 1973 as an association of practicing and academic lawyers with the object of promoting the study and practice of European Law in Ireland. It pursues this objective through: the organisation of public lectures and workshops on topics of current interest relating to the law of the European Union and European Human Rights law; the publication of the Irish Journal of European Law (“IJEL”); the preparation and dissemination of papers for the Fédération Internationale de Droit Européen (FIDE), of which the Society is the Irish affiliated member.
The ISEL invites you to find out more about the organisation through this website. We hope that you will consider becoming a member and we look forward to welcoming you at one of our events in the near future.
